At 32, wrecked in LA by a divorce and drowning in rage, I started bleeding through surreal digital canvases - painting not with brushes, but with wounds. When I was torn from that life and dropped into Guatemala’s broken streets, grief came like a riot. Then one night, lit by the glow of an old laptop, I saw her - my mother - woven into old works. Every surreal pixel pulsed with memory. Neon Diaries is that moment: when I realized I hadn’t just been making art. I’d been keeping the past alive.
